Make a difference and help build an interactive and caring first grade classroom community! Brighten the day of first graders and encourage meaningful interactions through carpet time that will support collaborations, creations, and connections! This carpet will have a lasting impact throughout the school year and in years to come! This valuable classroom resource will help close the communication gap that often occurs with assignments and projects. An educational carpet area will support positive interactions to target social skills and strategies needed to effectively and authentically discuss classroom announcements and complete daily assignments. Interacting with my first graders on the classroom carpet will bridge the communication barriers by supporting natural conversations that promote the understanding of the curriculum while considering students' diverse backgrounds and personal interests.
