I love the idea of flexible seating and want to add this as an option for my students. The adjustable height of these fidget stools will be wonderful for my students because they are all at various heights and are growing so fast in 5th grade. Using fidget stools and bands on the bottoms of regular chairs will allow my students to move during class while staying safe in one space. I believe that having a variety of options for my students will give them more control in the classroom since they will have a choice. Students have shown to improve their mood and outlook on school when they feel valued and this is one way for me to show them that. Using flexible seating will improve my students ability to focus in class, maintain control over their actions, and even increase their academic performance.
