I teach reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and Texas history to two groups of fourth graders each day. My classroom is very culturally diverse as our school has been recognized for best representing the diversity of our district. I teach students of all levels. Classroom culture is extremely important to me. Students learn to work together and to understand their own strengths and weaknesses to become positive citizens of the world--these skills are as important as any academic skills.

About my class
