My students are starting off in a wonderful, comfortable, special environment. Kindergarten is a special grade where learning continues from Pre-K, daycare, or home care. My students are from many different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. My classroom is extremely special because it's an integrated co-teaching class. There are five students with IEPs. This elementary school is one of four schools in the district, but is considered Title I, because we have a 51% poverty rate. My students come from amazing culturally diverse backgrounds that we continue to embrace and learn about on a daily basis.
