Most preschool students have a difficult time sitting on the rug at large group and attending to the teacher. Preschool students with special needs can have an even harder time. With these chairs, it will take the focus off actual sitting and direct the attention to the teacher. This will allow students to more fully participate and attend during large group without being worried about lounging on the rug or not not having adequate muscle development to sit criss cross. The goal of special education is to provide supports and specialized programming so students can become as independent as possible and participate in the general education class as much as possible. These chairs will help.
