My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in learning. Education is changing every single day, and this year proved just that. This upcoming 2020-2021 school year I want to make certain I can provide my students the best support possible, as they will begin with online learning from home. Engagement is key, especially when many students are visual learners. These tools will help increase their academic curiosity and spark the need to engage. A high quality document camera will allow me to model writing proper sentences and essays and allow for reading books aloud appropriately. A document camera will also support students that cannot attend live lessons, with recordings of the lessons. A portable white board, will help me create visual and clear examples for my students while teaching virtually at home. A coat rack holder, will allow to hold any anchor charts my students and I create online or in class. Students will be able to go to the rack and find any chart for reference. I hope that these tools will encourage engagement via virtual learning and help develop my students' academic skills and feel excel in their learning community. I hope to use these resources when we return to the classroom and continue to build our learning community in class. Thank you for your support.
