My students don't have many books. By creating a class library that has interesting books, my students would be able to access more information, they'd be able to develop their skills as readers, and have a better learning experience. Reading is essential. By creating a class library, my students will be able choose the type of book they want to read, change their mind and choose another one. They'll be able to find the style of literature that speaks to them. This project, and these materials will reassure my students that they are supported, that reading has the power to change the world and the people in it. By reading and discussing these books, my students will develop their social and emotional skills, and improve their everyday lives.

About my class
