My students are a group of elementary - artists I like to say - ranging in age from 5 to 10 years old. Many of them come from troubled homes and single parent homes. Most of our students live life on very little because they have very little. This makes them appreciate much though, and with that comes a determination in them to succeed in life. So, it is with that very determined attitude that our students approach the music classroom. I find that music moves these kids, and they love to create ways to express this. I am always looking for ways to further their creativity as they learn and experience music. In addition to my love of the music classroom, I have an equal passion for Gifted learners. I am one the pullout teachers for our gifted and talented learners at Teague Elementary.
