Central Davidson Middle's community is composed of economically depressed families. Many of the jobs have moved form the community, parents are unemployed or under employed. 52% of our children are on free and reduced lunch. This is something that effects my classroom. While we do not have the most money, we do have some of the most dedicated and persistent families. They want to learn and I want to teach them about the possibilities of a brighter future.
