My students live in a very low-income area of town. All students receive free breakfast and lunch because of the poverty in the area. For the most part, my students have the supplies that my school and I provide them. Our families simply cannot afford these luxuries. Studies have shown that the only way to break the cycle of poverty is with a proper education. Please help the 5th graders at my school receive the education that they deserve in order to improve their financial situation.
