Toni Morrison said "If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." A classroom chant that inspires my students to share Thier writing with each other. Last year as first graders my class created several classbooks. This year we were fortunate enough to loop into second grade together. I want to continue to inspire my student to write. As our class continues to learn the mechanics of writing,I would like students to be able to create stories in which they hear their voices. I would especially love to inspire students with learning challenges to share in the experience of writing through the use of technology.
