Welcome to junior high robotics! This is the type of class that students are excited to come to. Students are engaged in hands-on challenges that require them to work together, think critically, and celebrate successes. Thinking outside of the box is definitely a skill that is enhanced during your time in robotics class. Some important life lessons are learned in here, such as "measure twice and cut once," and another favorite is, "the easiest solution is often the best." At the beginning of the year, students often cling to their ideas and feel that other students may steal their ideas. By the end of the year, you see kids willingly share solutions to bring invention and innovation together to solve problems as a team. Walk in, and you will see students engaged. You will hear cheering at our successes and group "booos" on our fails. We laugh; we learn, and you better believe we have fun! Welcome.
