The use of daily reading comprehension, language arts, and phonics daily review journals in my classroom has yeilded great success, especially in reading. Students are often excited about having their own personal journal for daily reviews. Using the journals daily helps to establish a routine in our classroom that we must practice our skills if we are to master the learning objectives. Having daily review journals we work in daily gives students a clear message that their hard work will pay off, allows them set goals, and track their progress. The daily review journals will allow me to see exactly what they are doing while assessing their learning, as well as, provide an efficient way for me to provide feedback. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase students love for reading and literacy, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic objectives, have their material in a centralized location, and practice daily to sharpen their skills. They will be better readers and ultimately better students.
