With 16 years of experience in teaching art, i have never seen students so willing to learn. And I say this because in my school there are many children with special needs physical or economic because they are below the poverty level. I have developed amazing artistic skills in them that even adults have been surprised by their talent . Everyone is super motivated. I have taught them from watercolor painting to pottery. By the time I have discovered that when I make a drawing or demonstration painting on paper again and again for each group of 30 students at the end of the day I finish with an average of 7 - 9 drawings. I really believe that with the i pad I will be able to make demonstration drawings on it and save them digitally, which will allow me to save time and dedicate it personally to each one of my students. Also the size of the screen is the ideal one to show a bigger picture or paint an example of art so they can copy it or learn when they see an image. In our school there is no money for this and I have already spent my personal money to buy other necessary materials that i have in my classroom. Everyone is super motivated in my class that they say art the best class in the school . I ask you to please in the deepest part of your heart you help me please help my students to forget all the bad things that surround them, especially the students who have come from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, who are the ones that need more from us .
