My classroom is very diverse and includes students of numerous ethnicities, languages and socioeconomic statuses. They are very curious and love to learn, often asking scientific questions about the world around them. They love to do art projects and explore their creativity. Without school, many of my students would not have the opportunity to explore and create. As a teacher I strive to make my classroom a safe place where all kids can learn and grow. Extra resources support this, as it's hard to fund additional supplies and projects on my own. First grade is a key foundational step in education, and so we offer a lot of interventions and extra supportive services to give all kids their best chance at learning and growing. The more help we can get with this, the better. Any and all donations help, and we appreciate them all!
