This classroom carpet will provide so much more than just floor coverage! It will help brighten our entire classroom. My goal at the beginning of every school year is to make any adjustments I can to welcome students into a visually pleasing, inviting space for learning. When students are happy to be at school and in their classroom it adds to their willingness to learn, take risks and be themselves. This rug will also provide a safe space for us to meet, learn and grow together. It will help povide visual boundaries to help students regulate self space while in a group. My hope is it will also become a favorite space for some of my students as we listen to stories, discuss new things and get to know each other in this space.
