My preschool students are at risk children who come to school to learn and be loved. They are exited to learn and want to explore materials with whole bodies. Our program is full day and play based so it is essential for us to have developmentally appropriate materials and the appropriate amount of of materials in our centers and outdoor spaces so that all children are able to play and learn. My hope is to create an outdoor area that will inspire their imagination and encourage hands on exploration. I want my student's to use scientific inquiry and tools to explore nature in a variety of ways. I want to challenge my students to build vocabulary and gross motor skills by taking risks in their outdoor environment. In doing so they will become lifelong learners and scientists! My hope is for my students to grow a curiosity and love for learning!
