These calculators will be used to aid our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students investigation of mathematics and the sciences. A few of the projects students will be pursing include a research project about flooding along the Mississippi River in Environmental Science, construction of solar ovens in Physics, geometric sculptures in Geometry, video game design in Computer Science, and cooking and food science in Chemistry. Our students will construct their own knowledge through authentic participation in real projects. Their experiences will provide them real-world job skills and help better their community.

About my class
