In a generation where Starbucks is the best place for a study session, it is unrealistic that our students sit in rows facing the teacher. I want my classroom to be a place where my students feel empowered by having choice and control over their environment. When my students are uncomfortable, they quickly become distracted and unproductive. With the addition of flexible seating they will be able to find a comfortable space to stay calm, focused, and effectively complete their work. It is my hope that with these new seating options, my students will be able to freely collaborate in a positive environment that is both student-led and academically challenging.

About my class
