We are striving for excellence in my math classes this year. These resources will be used throughout the year to solidify their understanding of new concepts and review prerequisite skills. Each resource provides the students a chance to use real world situations to achieve this goal. Something as simple as relating the way scores are assigned in the game of Yahtzee to probability, gives them a purpose to learn. The project idea book is another way to put these skills into action. The resources can be used with future classes, too. Please invest in making learning meaningful for the students in my classroom next year and in future years!
