My classroom supports up to 50 scholars a day, but there are only desks for my homeroom class of 25. Since our 4th graders switch between two classrooms every day, that leaves 25 scholars without a place to call "their own". With this Mobile Student Work Organizer, the 25 scholars who come to my classroom in the afternoon will finally be able to have a place that belongs to them. They will be able to store all of their supplies in their own personal space. By labeling each space with scholars names, they will be able to get the materials they need quickly and easily. This allow scholars feel like they are just as much as part of my classroom as those in my homeroom. During instruction in my class I always enjoy watching students work together in groups and finding their own area of the classroom where they believe they are able to do their best work. With 5 Calming Color Pillows students will have the opportunity to move around in the classroom to work comfortably rather than continuing to sit in a desk. Your generous donation will assist in creating a safe and comfortable environment for my scholars to call their own!
