Welcome to the Moriah Elementary music room. This is a room filled with energetic students who have incredible hopes and dreams for the future. Our school is nestled in an old former mining town. Although limited in opportunities, this is a close knit community, with the school being the heart of the town. My students come from working class families who often drive long distances for employment. The nearest movie theater is an hour away, and we have a high rate of poverty. As a teacher, I desire to provide a positive atmosphere where students can attempt new things through music, and experience success. Thank you for becoming a part of our team, and sowing into the dreams of my students.
