My students come to me throughout the day to work on intensive intervention programs that target language arts and math skills. The majority of my students are low income and they need a welcoming place to come to learn. Since I hold small groups, we have more flexibility in our seating options. Many of my students have ADHD and have to be able to move in order to focus. Flexible seating is a great way to allow students to move freely while still be contained to an appropriate working space. My partner teacher and I are working hard to create an environment that fosters each students' ability to learn in the most appropriate way possible.
