I have 8 special education students with a vast base of needs. From autism, other health impaired, medically fragile to emotional behavior disorders- I am lucky to be in a school that embraces the inclusion model and ensures students to be with their like age non- disabled peers. I have my work cut out for me in my first year of teaching. They can be restless, but I have strategies and an awesome related services team to implement goals and interventions. Getting these students close to grade level in academics and social goals is my professional goal.
