Whiteboards help students see their work and improve it. They are always eager to find new ways to practice skills and use less paper. It is fun to write an answer and be able to erase and use that same tool again and again! Anchor charts are just not the same when they are black and white. We need colorful markers. Laminating learning tools make them last much longer and my firsties love the feel of laminated tools! Pencils always need to be sharp at the beginning of the day and an electrical pencil sharpener will make that so much easier! We use anchor charts almost everyday, they help us remember what we have learned and refer back to them when we forget. My students love the independance of being able to find the answer for themseves instead of always asking teacher.
