My 4th graders will use the flashlights during reading time to “spotlight” their books. We will turn off the lights and use only flashlights for independent reading. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more! This will be an engaging way to have students fall in love with reading, which will lead to an increase in productivity in the classroom. I can’t wait to see the how this project will increase reading levels in my classroom. There is nothing better than watching students read their favorite book!
