I will use Dash and Dot to start a coding club in my school library. My students have been introduced to coding through Code.org and borrowed Spheros, but at this time we lack the funds to purchase our own set. A great interest in coding was shown by parents and students alike in a recent STEAM Night when a teacher from another school brought over Dash and Dot for a demonstration. There was a long line waiting to get their turn to try out this technology that teaches kids to code. I would love to give my kids this opportunity!
