Using Breakout EDU boxes will allow my students to work with the curriculum or review content in a new and exciting way. Working in teams, students must use clues and puzzles and work collaboratively to solve the mystery. Breakout EDU uses locked boxes in different styles, a wide variety of locks, such as directional, word, and digit locks, invisible ink and UV flashlights to read the ink to engage students in the learning as they work together to succeed in unlocking the box. This Breakout EDU kit will allow my students to become better problem solvers, creative thinkers, and leaders. It also allows for more participation and student engagement. Throughout the game, students will need to work on tasks that involve ELA, math, science, social studies, music, art and technology. Communicating effectively is another skill worked on in this activity. In the end, with all these positive reasons to play Breakout EDU, it seems to be a no-brainer. I want to make my lessons more exciting and more relevant and Breakout EDU is exactly the way to do it!
