This project will add high quality, diverse literature for both read-aloud and independent reading in my classroom. I have chosen a variety of books which include poetry, fiction, non-fiction, folktales and culture. Students will be able to enrich their vocabulary and expand their knowledge with the use of these books. This project will allow my students to grow as readers and thinkers! These books will also be used to improve student comprehension by focusing on specific skills while reading and digging deeper for meaning. My students love to learn about new topics and these books will give them the tools they need to do so!

About my class
