Fluency, listening comprehension, and print concepts are just a few skills that are critical for students to learn early in the education. There are many times throughout the day when the kindergarten students are being read to, however these materials will be extremely helpful during independent learning time, such as centers. In my classroom, we would love to have a "Listen to Reading" center. In this center, students would be able to choose a book that they can read along with while listening to the corresponding story being read aloud on their personal CD player. This center will help with print concepts, reading fluency, and listening comprehension! Each Book on CD comes with a hard copy of the book and a CD with the book being read aloud pre-recorded and ready to listen to!
