I work with special needs students at the elementary grade level. My students are all passionate in their own ways, but they face many challenges each and every day. In addition to trying to acquire the academic skills that all children need, they face the difficulty of acquiring skills that usually happen naturally as we grow up. We work on learning how to read and learning how to walk and talk. Our district does what it can to support each and every one of our students, but we are in a low socio-economic area, and sometimes, we fall short. Please join me in trying to give these students the best opportunities to achieve in their world. ~Mrs. Dennett
