Students today need to learn to become problem solvers, critical thinkers, and collaborative. In order to help guide students in that direction, my school initiated a STEM based class. In order to give my students the experiences they require, I teach them many useful skills such as using CAD (computer-aided design) programs, technical drawings, and using a design process to aid them in their creations. We are a problem-based classroom that strives to have students in charge of their own learning.
