My classroom is in need of photo keeper boxes, card stock, laminating sheets, Velcro dots, hole puncher, book rings, dry erase markers, and dot markers. These supplies are needed to update independent learning centers for my students that are on the autism spectrum.
These resources will be used to make task box centers in each subject ares for my students. Most of my students have few resources at home. I strive to make my classroom one where my students are able to be creative as we work on building independence.
I am asking for the supplies listed above to redo our independent work station centers. My students are still learning how to appropriately use tools which has resulted in the need for these supplies mid school year. I have seen tremendous growth and progress this school year in my students understanding of center procedures and proper use of tools.
This is my first year teaching and every little bit helps. I am truly thankful that you have taken the time to read about my project.
