If you have ever met a 3-4 year old, you know they like to play all day. A preschool class reflects that desire to play. Educational toys help me to infuse our child centered "play" areas with intentional instruction. Enhanced Emotional and Social Development Educational toys are critical components in skill development in the classroom. They also have the added benefit of aiding in the development of social and emotional skills amongst the students.
Educational toys such as groceries, pots and pans, other kitchen utensils and dress up clothing provide a unique opportunity for students to play and interact with other students or adults. The students set the tone.
The students will enjoy a simulating a grocery store with the use of the weighing scale, cash register and various fruits and vegetables. The wooden knob puzzles and tool kits provide opportunities in a natural way to improve our fine motor skills. Our classroom would not be complete without the opportunity to dress up as different occupations.
Your donations will allow me to transform our entire classroom to ensure maximum engagement and knowledge depth.
