I am trying to create a classroom environment that allows my students the freedom to move around and be comfortable in a flexible seating arrangement. I am asking for energizing ball chairs which help with the fidgeting when I am teaching a lesson. I am also asking for two standing desks. These desks allow many of my students who have trouble sitting at a traditional desk the opportunity to complete their assignments in an effective way of reducing sitting time. The rug will have a coffee table on it with cushions for the students to sit at during a collaborative project or just to complete any independent class work. A flexible seating arrangement within my classroom will help my students, learn, be engaged in this new classroom environment.
