I teach at a 5-8 middle school. We are currently the largest middle school in our state. Our school is only six years old, and has a lot of offer students. The problem is much of our budget has gone to bringing the 5th graders from the elementary school up to the middle school. There is simply no technology money for teachers to improve their curriculum. Our students are very interested in the visual arts and commercial art products. They are wanting the best of everything teachers have to offer.
