I teach functional academics, daily living skills, job skills, and other experiences needed for these awesome learners to have a purposeful life outside of school. My students takes pride in their work and love to show off their creativity. My main goal is for all students to be independent, contributing members of the community. Most of my classroom activities are hands on. A lot of our class projects and activities that will be completed using these materials including graphic organizers, art work, writing and science journals, etc. My students require large amounts of support and care. They usually don't like change and are now transitioning back to school from being at home since spring.
