The students at my school have heart and soul. They have dreams of becoming writers, dancers, singers, and artists. However, they are surrounded by poverty, turmoil and crime. Some have parents who are in prison or non existent. They strive to be the best at their craft, but also know they must have a "Plan B" for their futures. They love of reading about those who have struggled and overcome adversity to get where there are in life. They feed off knowledge and they fight.
