My students this year are highly engaged learners who love to ask questions and explore content to the fullest extent. They are very active learners who really like to move around and do their work in different locations including tables around the room, on the floor, at desks in the hallway or even leaning on the heating vents by the window. I have a standing desk and some egg chairs they love as well. They are the kind of students I would follow to 5th grade and beyond because they are kind, energetic, helpful, enthusiastic and they have a love of learning. I would love teach them that it's ok to ask for something you want, especially if you can explain why you need it. They helped me come up with this idea and I would love to have them see this request met with their help in writing it.
