Our students are bright and respectful and truly want to learn. They have an eagerness to experience the world of science. I want to provide rich experiences for them such as dissecting activities to engage them in hands-on science activities that will foster of love and respect for science for years to come. The times that our students have dissected animals, they have been so excited about each task at hand. They truly did not want to leave to go to their next class. I want to provide more experiences for them this year that will excite them and keep them interested in science. Also, I want for all of my students to enjoy science. It seems like the more experiments and learning activities I do with them, the more they look forward to science class. Our school has 255 total students in grades 5-8. By the time they reach the 7th and 8th grade, their interest seems to decrease in science. I want to change that!
