The middle school which I work in is one of the largest in New York State. With 2300 students in grades 6-8, one often thinks "Wow! These students must get lost in the shuffle!" That is one of the most wonderful aspects of this school as students are cared for as if they were in a class of 10. The Sixth grade class of approximately 700 students come from 10 different elementary schools all with differing backgrounds and demographics. Although every student is different (obviously) they are all exuberant and fun loving. They have personalities that constantly make you laugh and find new ways to reach them. I am constantly changing and rearranging curricula to reach this year's group of students.
