My students are in the first grade in a low income neighborhood. About half of my class speaks another language at home and many have parents who do not speak any english at all. Students need look forward to coming to school and being actively engaged in their learning. I strive to create hands on learning experiences for my students in order for them to enjoy learning and get the most out of every lesson.
