I have all 8th grade students from a variety of backgrounds. Some come from very poor families, where they have little in reading materials. Other students are from foreign countries and are learning our language as a second or third language. The school contains both 8th and 9th grade in a mid-western town. While the town is relatively small, the diversity is great. The school encourages students to get involved and become responsible adults.
