Many of my students struggle with focusing. Flexible seating allows students to choose a quiet place around the classroom in which they feel they can do their best learning. Often times, this could be a rug or a soft pillow on the floor. This allows the students to get up out of their hard classroom chairs and into a comfortable place to do their best learning. These Wobble Chairs would allow my students a more flexible seating choice while at small group reading with me. Unfortunately, most of our classroom furniture is old and outdated. Many chairs are cracked and this can be uncomfortable for the kids. Funds are not allocated for new furniture within the school. Flexible seating options allow for new furniture to be used while allowing the students to learn in a more comfortable setting.
