My students are 7th and 8th graders who have chosen to come to our public option school because of the Middle Years Program. Students are looking to dive deeper into the materials they are studying and see how those materials relate to them and the world around them. I have students from every walk of life in my classes; those who are from wealthy families and those on public assistance, immigrants and native born, representing a wide variety of cultures from around the world. I would like to honor their differences and provide them with an education that recognizes that they each have something special to offer the class.
