My students are 6th and 7th grade scientists. They are very inquisitive and love exploring the world around them. Most of my students live a long distance from school and use public transportation to get here. They have limited access to printers in their homes and wait a long time to use the computers in the public library. Our school is a Title I school serving inner city students. 85% of my students receive free or reduced lunch and do not have the means to access and print out their research and data they have collected for their Science Fair project. We are a small middle school and high school. The middle school supports a little over 320 students. There are only three working printers for the entire school including the high school. Most of the time the printers are in use by a teacher or student or simply out of ink. We need our own printer/copier and some ink cartridges.
