I have used Scholastic News and Science Spin in the past years and the kids love it. I will have a much larger class this year and I can't afford to purchase them myself. Our school is a Title I school so my parents can't afford to pay for the magazines. My students look forward to the colorful newspapers and enjoy the digital books I share with the whole class. These tools bring Social Studies and Science to life for them. The magazines already are aligned with the state standards which is a huge help to me as a teacher.
