My students come from many different backgrounds, economic status, and cultural experiences. The one thing they share is their love to learn. The excitement on their face when we declare them a reader or an author is incredible. Some of my students don't have someone to read to them at home. I want to level the playing field and provide each child with the opportunity to experience books and develop that love of reading.
