My students are Texas first graders that are just beginning to develop a love of books! I teach in a community where parents are working parents with a large number of economically disadvantaged students. The students are great kids. My classroom provides a safe place for these kids to learn and be with someone who is excited to teach them every day and discover all of the wonderful things you can find in books. For some, school is an escape from a difficult home life. For others, it's opening the doorway to becoming a lifelong learner. I want to provide ALL that I can for these kids. With your help, we can provide the ideal learning environment for some amazing children. Thank you for partnering with me in providing for our future!!
