The students in my classroom are students with special needs. Students are identified as having a disability when the regular curriculum that is being taught just doesn't fit their learning style or speed. My job is to create a learning environment where all of my students are able to learn and progress. As a resource room teacher, I work on intense interventions with students during the time that they are with me. It is important for me to make the time that I spend with my students the most effective learning environment so that they can continue to make progress.
